The administrative judge of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday transferred the bail pleas of three female workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to ATC-VIII for the hearing. The female workers, Rabia, Qurat-ul-Ain and Sumera were arrested for allegedly attacking a private news channel on 22 August, 2016.

They filed bail pleas with the administrative judge through their counsel who told the court that his clients were innocent as they were not present on the spot on the day of attack.

The counsel submitted that the charges labelled against the female workers were baseless; therefore they should be given bails.

The ATC’s Administrative judge transferred the bail pleas to ATC-VIII for hearings and directed the concerned judge to decide the pleas on merit. The women were arrested for allegedly attacking a private news channel last week after their London-based leader incited them to do so.
